Add an Arbor or Lattice for Climbing Plants
Adding an arbor or a lattice feature to your backyard landscape is easy!
An Arbor is a really easy DIY project that only takes an hour or so to set up. Arbors add architectural detail and interest to your yard. Plant climbing roses or other climbing vine type plants in front of the arbor and they'll climb and wind their way up the structure.

Do you have any close up pictures of your materials?
Yes, we have a lot of pictures of our Pergola materials. Here are some of the most requested:
Pergola Lattice, dimension 2" x 2" and available to us in 16' 20' and 24' pieces and available to you, custom cut for the Width of your pergola.
Complete with the beveled end caps.
Pergola Rafters, dimension 2" x 6.5" and available in the same lengths as our Lattice above, is available in several end style cuts. Shown first is the Mitered cut.
Next is the Scalloped end style. Mitered and Scalloped are the most popular styles by far.

New Custom Configurator
I have just completed two new tools for the Pergola-Patio.com website. These tools are the first in a series of custom configuration items that allow you to design your own style and size from all the options available.
If you are in the market for a standard pergola (single run headers and rafters, classic look) start with the Custom Configuration tool. It starts by using an 8'x8' (64 square foot) pergola with a base price. The base price always includes all the posts, brackets, end caps, touch-up paint, caulk, screws, etc. that you need to assemble your pergola. With the base price on the 8'x8' the correct amount and sizes of headers, rafters and lattice are all included, pre-cut with your choice of end-style cuts already completed for you. The base price also includes the truck shipping cost.
This configuration tool allows you to scale your size from the base size up to 16'x16' and any combination in between in one foot increments. Next, you choose your end-style and color preference. You can also choose to leave the posts plain by leaving the side plates off of your pergola. Ideal if you are adding your own columns. You won't find anything like it anywhere on the internet.

I have been asked that question many times. I enjoy the look of a wooden pergola as much as the next guy but, they are just too much hassle.
Consider these points:
-Wood is Heavy. The cost of shipping is more!
-Wood will rot. I'd rather sell you something that will last a liftime!
-Wood needs periodic painting or staining. Aluminum has a baked on enamel with a lifetime guarantee.
Aluminum beats wood hands down. It lasts longer, requires no maintenance, is lighter and easier to ship and can't rot or be eaten up by termites.
I am sure you will be 100% satisfied.
